ServiceNow Developer ITSM
LEIDIT is on the lookout for an experienced ServiceNow Developer, preferably with four (4) years of overall IT exposure, to join our esteemed federal IT team. This role centers around supporting our clients in enhancing their operational dynamics using ServiceNow. By being part of this expanding team, you’ll capitalize on your ServiceNow prowess, not only delivering on prevailing engagements but also collaborating with adept colleagues to enrich our institutional ServiceNow proficiency.
The primary goal is to design and configure ServiceNow modules to provide service management capabilities that meet the clients’ use cases.
- Collaborate with the ServiceNow platform support team to evaluate the present IT Service Management (ITSM) functionalities.
Provide actionable recommendations to elevate the existing ITSM structure.
Architect, configure, and roll out ITSM functionalities to align with organization mandates.
Deliver technical support to ITSM stakeholders and product owners.
Develop and optimize ITSM reports, dashboards, and portals for a diverse range of users.
Lead initiatives to understand ITSM roles and existing ServiceNow support clusters.
Attend stakeholders meetings to assist with obtaining business requirements, offer solutions, and serve as advisor on ServiceNow tool capabilities.
Provide and ensure adherence to Leidit development standards, including automated testing, quality assurance and agile development practices.
Provide Technical recommendations of ServiceNow implementations projects and provide technical support in ServiceNow tool configuration and custom development – Design, Development and Implementation of ServiceNow including, but not limited to: core setup, flow design, reports, data imports, custom scripting, Portal development, and third party software integrations.
Participate in Agile ceremonies including scrum meetings, sprint planning, retrospective, and overall release planning.
- Work with other Leidit Engineers and software developers to grow and maintain our innovation labs to support building store applications and other innovative products and solutions for our clients.
- A minimum of 4 years in IT with substantial ServiceNow expertise.
- Mastery in the Now Create methodology.
- Demonstrable knowledge in ITSM functionality enhancement.
Proficient in software architecture, design patterns, secure coding principles, and data modeling.
- Exposure to relational data structures and platforms like Configuration Management Databases (CMDBs).
- ITIL foundational knowledge.
- U.S. Citizenship.
General Developer Skills:
Adept at database design schemas.
Hands-on experience with SDLCs, spanning DevOps, Agile, Lean, Iterative, or Waterfall.
Proficiency in architecture and configuration with platforms like ServiceNow.
Acumen in relational database systems and platforms like CMDBs.
