As the New Year Dawned
The LEIDIT team embarked on an exciting journey with the WIN program — Workout, Inspiration, and Nutrition—dedicated to health and wellness. Leading the charge was Mary-Carmen Webb, our enthusiastic fitness instructor, who brought her expertise to a competitive health and fitness program designed to keep everyone engaged and motivated.
Monthly Challenges
Each month has a different challenge to add variety and encourage exploring new activities and interests.
January
Individual Challenges
January set the stage with individual challenges, where participants competed for the best overall time. LEIDIT utilizes Strava, a fitness tracking app, to log exercise and display leaderboards for challenges. Alerts will buzz with messages like “You’ve just been passed,” sparking a fierce yet friendly rivalry.
February
Team-Based Activities
February shifted gears to team-based activities, fostering a spirit of camaraderie and mutual support. At LEIDIT, our mantra is “We lift each other up to new heights,” and this challenge truly embodied that. For example, Cameron Stark became the beacon of motivation, sending his team inspiring messages every morning at 7 AM, urging them to rise and seize the day.

March
March Madness
March arrived with a burst of energy, embracing the theme of March Madness. Teams continued to build on their teamwork, tackling new challenges that required completing a set amount of time or miles to advance to the next round. March was all about accountability, as each member’s effort impacted the team’s progress.

Lizz Cook reflects on the experience, saying, “I enjoy incorporating new exercises like biking and sports into my routine, as I usually focus on strength training and walking. It is refreshing to step out of my comfort zone and mix things up.”
April
BINGO
April brings a fresh twist with a bingo challenge. Participants eagerly cross off squares after completing exercise time or miles, striving to achieve BINGO. The focus returns to individual efforts, encouraging personal growth and self-improvement.

Tam Nguyen shares, “When I started the WIN Program, I was motivated by the competition and results. It’s become so much more….a lifestyle and mindset change. I shifted my mindset from an all or nothing mentality to focus on incremental change. When things feel out of my control and chaotic, I lean on the program and my WIN Program support group to provide me with comradery, motivation, a reprieve and something within my control.”
Looking Ahead
LEIDIT values investing in employees’ work life as well as their personal wellbeing. As we look ahead, the LEIDIT team is excited about the prospect of more in-person and virtual workout classes, and diving deeper into nutrition and self-care. The journey has just begun, and the future promises to be filled with inspiring challenges and collective achievements.

Mary-Carmen Webb has done a phenomenal job of creating and promoting a supportive and engaging environment. She reflects on the journey so far: “I have enjoyed the energy and enthusiasm that this team has given the program. But most of all, I love seeing the team bond over challenges and encouragement from each other.”
