LEIDIT is looking for a Project Manager/Organizational Change Manager with proven project/task order management, change management, communications, and training expertise to join an exceptionally talented and innovative team, participate in the technical transformation journey through the ServiceNow platform and consult with our clients on process enhancement. Position Summary
The candidate will be a member of and lead a dynamic, growth-focused team charged with the responsibility of serving the federal sector through innovative technical solutions so our clients can meet their business challenges efficiently and serve their constituents. Working with LEIDIT’s leadership team, and project team, the candidate will support the management of day-to-day task initiatives, work with clients to establish an OCM strategy and lead the development of operational efficiencies, communications strategy, and oversee the management of training relevant to the work we implement to a diverse group of constituents and end-users.
Responsibilities
- Assessing organizational readiness for change – understand current state, identify gaps, and assess impact of changes. For example, introducing a completely new way of auditing and managing a technical offering or process improvement, building a bridge from the as-is to the to-be, including training on the technology that enables it.
- Change Communication Strategy – Effective Communication Plan so all understand why a change in process and technology is being adopted, including objective, organizational implications, and benefits.
- Acting as a SME in change management provide guidance, answer questions, develop and hold presentations related to changes
- Work closely with leadership (client and LEIDIT), craft consistent messaging
- Continuous monitoring, and evaluation, refine communications, predict risks and mitigations
- Oversee coordination, and full lifecycle of project management including development of project management plans, schedule(s), with clear milestones, deadlines, responsibilities
- Monitor and report regarding the program/project health as related to schedule, cost, budget, risks, and outcomes
- Prepares reports and brief executive management regarding the health of the project
- Facilitate workshops, meetings, and other client interactions as necessary in the completion of the project/program
- Support the project team to develop stakeholder, end-user, communications, outreach, and engagement efforts to obtain awareness, understanding, buy-in, and support
- Support the design, development, implementation, and revision of project plans and adhere to established timelines
Capabilities
- Project Management Experience, leading diverse teams and delivering projects with high stakeholder satisfaction
- Working knowledge of Organizational Change Management experience
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with demonstrated ability to influence and consult around all key project decisions
- Analytical skills and the ability to provide insight into project progress
- Strong skills with Microsoft Applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project, and Visio)
Desirable Skills
- ServiceNow platform knowledge is a plus, as would related certifications, project experience, and related credentials
- PMP – a plus
Education
- Bachelor’s degree (BS/BA) in technical field
- 7+ years of overall project experience; organizational change management and information technology
Required Skills
- Excellent, effective communications (writing and oral) is paramount
- Change management principles are necessary to guide strategies during any changes in the project including innovative technologies, and business ramifications
- Stakeholder engagement, building strong relationships, interactions with employees, managers, executives, external partners
- Ability to listen, empathize, and resolve conflict
- Cultural appropriate methodologies, and communications
- Leadership, and team playing, ability to collaborate with multiple teams, and business environments
- Strong Program/Project skills, schedules, timelines, milestones, ability to monitor and report on progress and meet deadlines
- Familiarity with continuous improvement processes, ability to assess current settings and articulate a future state of improvements
- Assess project management teams, approaches, tools, and phases
- Analytical thinking and processing
- Technical comfort and proficiency
- Familiarity with agile management, agile development methods and practices
- Ability to navigate and use Microsoft Suite of applications (Word, Excel, Project, PowerPoint, Visio)
